The Aurora Children’s Early Learning Center has thrived in the childcare industry for the last 33 years, largely through word-of-mouth support and testimonials. The early learning center currently serves children 6 weeks through fifth grade for full or half-days.
There is also a before and after-school program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, and a summer camp for multiple age groups.
In addition to the developmentally appropriate classrooms, the Aurora Children’s Early Learning Center has a large backyard playground which is separated by classes for age-appropriate play. Our Center offers additional activities and field trips such as dance, soccer, swim lessons and hiking. Pre-K students are exposed to common core readiness skills while enjoying arts and crafts projects, nature explorations, singing and dancing, story time, school-readiness activities, and more.
We are common core ready! As the nation makes the change to follow the Common Core State Standards, we are right there with them teaching skills that lead up to these college and career readiness standards. Children will be more than ready when they enter Kindergarten having our outstanding curriculum that will correlate with their schools academic standards.
There are field trips opportunities during the school year to destinations ranging from Patterson Farms, Cleveland Zoo and Moebius Nature Center. School-age children participate in homework help, sports activities, cooking lessons, science investigations, and other age-appropriate – and fun – pastimes. The summer camp includes daily field trips, swimming excursions, nature hikes, sports, games, and similarly exciting activities.
